Today our team of librarians did our annual book talk for the best and brightest teen books that we've read this year (this is our favorites session, not so much our critical acclaim session). Sadly, it being only November, not all of the best stuff has made it into our hands yet. So, as of today, these are my favorites:
Hi Elisabeth. Audrey, Wait! is really funny. Other fun books with humor I read this year were Geek Magnet by Kieran Scott, Artichoke's Heart by Suzanne Supplee, and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart.
I'm a Children's Librarian and I also worked in a children's specialty bookstore, so I have seen both sides of the kid lit industry. I love to read and review picture books and novels for young people, especially for the purposes of this blog. Enjoy!
